Preparation and Characterizaion of Silica Photonic Crystals Made from Ethanol
Reports preparation of artificial opal by sedimention of SiO2 spheres in ethanol and it's microscopic and optical characterization.Results show that artificial opal belongs to analogue fcc structure,which is in agreement with theoretical calculations by L.V. Woodcock.
