Analysis on Heat Transfer Phenomena in Continuous Casting Mould by Singular Perturbation Method and Its Numerical Calculation

  • Based on the singular perturbation method and composite with the moving-grid method, a new perturbation numerical method is established to analyze the casting process. The results are in good agreement with numerical solutions and measured values, which has laid a theoretical basis for further analysis and para-meters control during the solidification process of billets in continuous casting moulds.
